Wow! So I'm sorry I've been M.I.A. in the blog. I've been too busy to sit down and write one of these! Just about every weekend we've been down in Phoenix for some adoption event or another. Last weekend we went down for the People Saving Pets Walk and got tons of free food and fun stuff! Here's some pictures we got from that one:  http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.3351202741559.156378.1313582493&type=3

Then Arizona Cattle Dog Rescue got in some new puppies! We got to go see them and Tiff got to take pictures of them. See these cuties here: http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.3358770610751.156529.1313582493&type=3
This weekend we get to meet the other 6 and take pictures of them =D And I get to play with a bunch of my ACD friends!

My, what else? Mainly all the fun stuff with ACDR. I've gotten to go on tons of fun walks with them. Have you seen my pictures on my Facebook page? Well, check them out (and don't forget to "like" my page while you're there;)) http://www.facebook.com/pages/Beautiful-Bella-the-Blue-Heeler/194571633943663
We have a couple of new videos. Here's one that shows a bit of what Tiff and I have been up to:
And here's one that shows my progress on my latest trick-check it out!:
Hope everything's going well with everyone

Thank you so much for visiting our site! If you're so inclined, please feel free to drop us a line :) We'd appreciate it.
Okay, onto a few updates! Bella's latest trick is "Naughty" (where she sticks her nose in the corner and stays until I release her). And actually, we've renamed the trick to "Time-Out" because she seems to like that better :P
In other news, Bell and I have recently gotten into contact with a Australian Cattle Dog (ACD) Rescue group! We met them at Petsmart, and we've now become members/volunteers. I actually have joined as their volunteer photographer. I take pictures of the dogs that are being fostered and up for adoption :) When photos are put up online for adoptable dogs, about 60% of the potential adopter's choice is based on that picture. And if the picture is not good, the dog is not even considered. Sad, but true. I actually found myself doing that when I perused online rescues. I really started noticing the photograph's quality once I really got into photography and started shooting Bella.
Anyways, taking pictures for the rescue group gives me a chance to practice my skills and to help the dogs! Bella loves it. We went on a pack walk with like 20 other dogs, and she was so happy. Then we went to an adoption event in Phoenix called Yappy Hour. Bella got to meet like 50 other dogs! She swam with them, and played, and I hardly heard a peep out of her about telling the other dogs to back off. She seems to really be opening up more after those encounters! Now she's actually excited and really wants to greet other dogs instead of shying away from them! I'm so proud of her, and I'm glad she's met some of her own peeps that she seems to get along with :)
If you're interested in Bella for a photoshoot or anything, shoot us an email and let us know :) We'd love to do some more work and get the name of the Cattle Dog out there!
